Toffee-Glazed Fruit

 

Ingredients 

1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 Tbsp lemon juice

To serve:

6 oranges and 2 kiwifruit, peeled and sliced 

 

Method 

Place sugar, water and lemon juice in a heavy frypan over high heat, swirling pan to distribute heat evenly.
Cook until mixture forms a rich golden caramel, about 10 minutes.
Pour hot caramel over sliced fruit.Makes 1/2 cup toffee.
